Album

Room on Fire is the second studio album by American rock band the Strokes, released on October 28, 2003, through RCA Records. The album features the return of producer Gordon Raphael from Is This It and consists of a slightly smoother sound than its predecessor i. the bass guitar is less present except for several select moments when it becomes the focal point of the song. Its title is drawn from a lyric in Reptilia: The room is on fire as she's fixing her hair. The Strokes. Room On Fire. The sophomore album from The Strokes, Room on Fire brings back the garage rock sound from the bands first and landmark record, Is This It. Released on October 28, 2003, Room on Fire, is an eleven song collection that smooths out the rougher edge the band had on their debut while still maintaining their sharp edge for melody and rocking good hooks. Room on Fire Q&A. What certifications did this album receive Room on Fire was certified gold by the RIAA on December 12, 2003. In the albums opening damage report, What Ever Happened, Casablancas voice is so disfigured by fuzz in the first verse I wanna be forgottenAnd I dont wanna be reminded , its as if hes singing over a broken speakerphone from a burning building. Like any good New Yorker, Casablancas is suspicious and impatient by nature. But the distance and distrust in his songwriting and ashen monotone on Is This It were nothing like this. Casablancas sings the title chorus of You Talk. The Strokes- Julian Casablancas- Vocals Nick Valensi- Guitar Albert Hammond Jr - Guitar Nikolai Fraiture- Bass Fabrizio Moretti- Drums. Whatever Happened Perfect intro. Couldnt have been better in my opinion. The intro hands us over a bounty of tactics that the Strokes ragularly use, like the constantly muffled-like vocals, that always match the melody of the keayboards, and guitar-work. It will seem amazing at first, because it really is the perfect intro toa n album to Room On Fire, but it tends to get old. Reptilia A sudden triplet on the snares. Room on Fire is the second studio album by American indie rock band The Strokes. Released in October 2003, it follows 2001's Is This It and includes three singles: 12:51, Reptilia, and Under Control. Grammy-winning producer Nigel Godrich was initially in charge of production, but The Strokes felt he made the songs seem soulless. The band went back to work with Is This It producer Gordon Raphael. The album features a slightly smoother sound than its predecessor. The Strokes : Room on Fire,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен. Genre: Alternative Rock. Some may gripe that it's never as good as the first time, but Room on Fire shows that even after all that happened to the Strokes, they can still surprise. Full Review. Best of 2003. Worst of 2003.
