Sold Out. Plant Age is an album as comfortable and versatile as your favorite sweater-its lived-in, welcoming, and warm. Recorded sporadically over the past five years, its considerately sequenced and is glued together in a fairly uniform haze. The congruousness of Plant Age, the ubiquitous smoky gel that cushions all of his tracks, speaks to Terekkes fondness for recording to cassette tape. The album effectively sets a mood and continues to reveal itself more deeply upon repeated listens. BB2 is the clubbiest cut on the release, a muted yet pounding house track that sounds like its being played t. Listen full album. View all Terekke albums. Plant Age. 8 tracks. Released in 2017. Terekke - Plant Age It's fitting that . 100 comes from Terekke, an artist who's been synonymous with the label from the start. Tsuzing, from China, and Ngly, from Argentina, have released key albums on the label. But . continues on, post-hype, with roughly the same MO-to support the endeavours of dance music misfits. Terekke has used this platform to construct a shadowy, evocative world that snaps into focus on Plant Age. So what makes Terekke so special . I was expect the ambiant synth dub music from Terekke style when i picked up the album at my record shop. And it was it, and well done. After all, it's the 'Terekke style' we already heard on LIES release YYYYY. Rispondi Avvertimi 1 Helpful. dandadj7

  • Haal
A very sad and boring release in not only mine, but many others opinion ;;;)))…..
  • Banal
[a1 Tack is better than whole 2017 ..
  • Rocky Basilisk
... oh dear...
  • Marilbine
But you just attempted to validate others opinions by assuming that more people prefer Maroon 5 than Fugazi. I would like to see the data on that and if you don't have that data then one can only assume that you have incorrectly validated millions (as you put it) of people's opinions. Honestly, you don't need the validation of others to confirm your opinion.
  • Tyler Is Not Here
You don't like it. The fact that other people don't like it is surely irrelevant. Millions of people think Maroon 5 are a great band. Far fewer think Fugazi are a great band. Because more people think it, does that make it a more valid opinion? You don't like it, but you don't need the validation of others to confirm your opinion.
  • Fenrikasa
A very amazing and interesting release in not only mine, but many others opinion.
  • Moogugore
Probably for the best. You could always file it under 'F'..
  • Kriau
Many others, eh? Oh dear, better throw mine away soon as.
  • Adrielmeena
Anyone else’s copy have excessive surface noise and crackle? Even after a thorough clean there’s lots of clicks and pops on my pressing.
  • Sardleem

I got this record (and improvisational loops LP) from Matt himself after hitting him up on email. He is such a humble fellow didnt mind even doing a record swap, and brought the records overseas personally. This record may confuse some people with the 'House' tag, whatever your conception of that may be, however their a re a few tracks that would fit nicely into any deep/dusty/lo.fi house set or openers for some afterhours. That's probably where the tag comes from, so dont come here grandstanding as the haus police.
  • Billy Granson
top class lp... dubby ambient beauty, perfect for outdoor summer chill listening times.
  • Wrathshaper
I don't recall the EP's I own from him for being club oriented tbh...
  • Thordigda
How you feel about this album will depend on what you want from it. One guy on RA hears it as 'new age crap'. I hear it as gently submerged house music. We all correct, in our own minds. There is no doubt that if you want club bangers you are way off piste, and if you don't like sitting back and drifting away, you'll never hear this. Comparing to Bonobo makes no sense to me - find it a pretty bizarre pairing.
  • Urtte
whats up with all the hate, this is an amazing album! on repeat over in my house
  • bass
Criticism is not hate, this dogmatic equation (Criticism = Hate) needs to be eradicated in order to push music out of stagnancy.
  • Gavigamand
This one is a slow burner for sure. Top release - well executed. ????
  • Nern
I agree with witclub.net_AM and his review. The album is nice but just does not cut it for me to buy on vinyl.Nice but nothing special like a Bonobo release, etc. Not cutting edge. I have been buying dance music for 20 years and always seek originality and beauty.Unfortunately, the album does not tell a story and seems to stagnate in one place. 3 stars

TerekkeRIYL: Bonobo Please enter at least 8 more . .
  • Ranterl
Why are you even comparing this to Bonobo? doesn't make any sense to me.
  • Lanin
Yeah, I totally agree, this is nothing special like a U2 or Bon Jovi record to mention a couple more.
  • Oppebro
your main problem may the fact that this is not a dance music album, but mainly ambient.
  • Kitaxe
So weird my internal monologue keeps reading your comment in hank hills voice.
  • Buzatus
if you're looking for something like a bonobo release you're probably in the wrong place - that's a lousy comparison, not to mention two completely different sound signatures
  • Bladebringer
this album is a total grower and very addicting listen. really opens up with good speakers.
  • Vit
omg it does not have upbeat 4/4 lofi hihats and easy house basslines and 70ies rnb melancholic samples how boring how experimental how will I listen to this and pretend i like it I dunno
  • Gaxaisvem
One of those beautiful records I can just put on in the morning while making coffee and bliss out to. My favorite type of vinyl.
  • the monster
It's a good album but I was expecting a lot more. The atmospheres are there, the sounds are beautiful but lacks in terms of writing and composition and does not come to a point. It almost seems like he was short on ideas. A nice listening, worth your time but won't change your day.
  • Goktilar
impressive release by the one and only. true jams for the listener. tracks are a bit short for me, but this is one nice document overall.
  • Capella
TBH, it's kindly disappointing... a pretty lousy and "boring" release...I'll wait till the 4th/5th full listen to express, and hope to disagree with myself...
  • Preve
just admit that your problem is its not a club release, but mostly ambient
  • YSOP
I'm glad I didn't blind buy it like some people suggested. It's an okay release but nothing standout like his previous EPs. Feels slightly unfinished and just a collection of ideas/beats.
  • Uste
just buy it blind people, you know you're going to love it!
  • PanshyR
Are there any clips of this to be found anywhere?
