Kraftwerk is the debut studio album by German electronic band Kraftwerk. It was released in Germany in 1970, and produced by Konrad Conny Plank. Chief Kraftwerk members Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider used two drummers during the recording of the album Andreas Hohmann and Klaus Dinger. Their playing provides the music with a rock edge. This proves to be quite distinct from Hütter and Schneider's previous band Organisation, or the following pair of Kraftwerk albums, Kraftwerk 2 and Ralf und. Kraftwerk 2 is the second studio album by German electronic band Kraftwerk, released in January 1972. Kraftwerk 2 was entirely written and performed by founding Kraftwerk members Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider in late 1971, with the sessions produced by the influential Konrad Conny Plank. Hütter later said of the album's recording: Perhaps the least characteristic album of their output, it features no synthesizers, the instrumentation being largely electric guitar, bass guitar, flute and violin. Like its predecessor similarly designed right down to the traffic cone cover, though green instead of red, Kraftwerk 2 has never been properly re-released, giving it the same lost-classic aura as the first album, or at least lost, period. Thankfully, bootleg reissues in 1993 restored it to wider public listening even more so than Kraftwerk 1, its lack of official reappearance is a mystery, in that the band is clearly well on its way to the later Kraftwerk sound of fame. • ACOS
Mine's pressed a little off-centre - not too much of a problem until the 'inner' tracks. Obviously, that makes for an almost inaudible defect on "Atem" - and something a tad larier on "Harmonika". Still, a great bootleg all-round.
  • Tantil
Yes, mine is of centre too - causes a bit of seasickness on KlingKlang!
  • Precious
Mine is also of center (got the counterfeit with the blue phillips-label) but only on side 2. I can recognize it only on harmonika, but this doesn't matter so much - this track only sounds a little more stranger this way. All in all the sound and also the packaging is great, only payed 15 € for this one.
  • Nea
my copy looks like basic transparent green, not marbled. otherwise same looking.
  • Vosho
Excellent quality. Abandoned, whatever, it has never been lost.
  • Voodoolkree
Really REALLY good quality bootleg. Beautiful and affordable.
