Surely 'Adnaloy' has been missed here. In an already painfully transcendent genre, the New york 'New Wave' melting pot never got hotter than this backwards version of 'Yolanda'. August Darnell perhaps did himself a huge injustice by simply being a genius. Its hard for civilians to decipher the fine line between irony, street punk funk & pop music. Both sides of this 12" are worth their weight in gold, and, depending on where your coming from- to be filed in the cream of electronic music, or, to be slung in the back pile along with Agadoo & Toyah Willcox. For me its the 1st option.
